Vehicle entries are currently open.
This website will be maintained as a record of past events in Taunton and Minehead, but information about future events will appear on the TVGWOT website, and all enquiries should be made to them.
Many thanks to all the bus owners, volunteers, traders, partner businesses and organisations and of course the visitors who made the events in Taunton and Minehead happen over the past decades.
We hope to offer something on the Saturday as well. At this stage, we’re still working on that, but will get some information available here as soon as we can.

Such a shame that there is to be no event again in 2019. It was so popular with everyone and really energised Taunton. One big advantage of holding it in Taunton was the opening of the bus depot and bus station as part of the event. I do hope it will return in future years so that we can once again enjoy these lovely buses. Will check back with the website next year and hope for some good news.

This event on such a sunny day was brilliant!
The Minehead event this past 12th of May 2019 was a joy and wonderful to see so many attend.
I would just like to say a very big thank you to the organisers, drivers, conductors, helpers and any other members who helped make the event run so smoothly even when one vehicle decided it needed a break.
I am greatly looking forward to attending next year and look forward to hearing more in the near future.
Fabulous day for both young and old with scenic routes through the countryside and along the coast, one to mark in the diary for next year, roll on 2020!
Very sad but inevitable decision. As you know it’s one of the highlights of our year and it will be greatly missed. Hopefully all will be well in 2021 and we can look forward to driving to Porlock and enjoying fine company once again.
Meanwhile stay safe and well.
Delighted to hear it is back again in 2021. Running past Sheppy’s to Wellington is a great decision as it gives a lot of options for food and drink. Really looking forward to it.
Really sad to hear the day will not be running this year 2023 was one of our highlights last year I have a two year old who is obsessed with buses and classic cars.
But understand that the rising fuel costs may be prohibitive I’m sure myself and others would happily pay for the journeys. Hopefully we get to see them at other events.

It’s not going to happen in 2019, don’t want to rule anything out for the future.
